"The Vibrational Life"

Today we are we are going to be experimenting to find our own particular keynote, and then experiencing it through toning. I will give a brief explanation concerning the keynote. Tony McGettigan will explain the astrological influence which is the context we shall be using today for finding our keynote, but not limited too. Then Al Olliffe will instruct us in toning, we shall then move into the tone of each crystal bowl accordingly.

The basis of today’s service is from the Hermetic Philosophy which was formed by Hermis Trismegistus known by the ancient Egyptians as "The Great Great" and "Master of Masters." He is said to be a contemporary of Abraham, and, if the legends be true, an instructor of our Bible’s first prophet. We are talking of some 8,000 plus years. All religions have their origins from these basic principles of science.

Today’s service is focused on the principle of vibration. All of life is based on vibration — without it there would be no life. The universe is ruled by music. Every planet, and heavenly spere produces music. Each has their own particular frequency of sound; which is their own unique vibration -- this is their keynote. And, every planet, including the sun and moon, resides within each of us. Tony will go more into that.

Every race, religion and nation has its own keynote. Even communities and families may have a keynote. Lastly, each individual has their own particular keynote. Mankind’s keynote is continually changing, going through a continual process of variation. Every word one utters, every thought which comes into mind, every emotion of the heart exercises a corresponding influence on the character of one’s keynote.

A musical instrument may be used to find one’s keynote, today we shall be using crystal bowls as our instrument. By sounding that note gently and slowly the person is being strengthened. You can play new vitality and energy into a yourself. On the other hand, by running very rapidly, the vibration can become harmful, and if kept up one can even go insane — it can disintegrate. We also can be our own instrument through toning. Toning slow and regular has the power of building up and strenghtening. Al will tell us more about toning.

Human progress consists in the continual elevation of the keynote. When the keynote is raised from one octave into a higher octave, the result is that we become conscious of things on that higher octave. Our blinders are lifted. We then become aware of an expanded universe with new physical laws. Mankind’s evolution is based upon the rising of his keynote to higher octaves.
