"Power of Blessing"

My talk today is about the power of blessing. And how scientific research is confirming its restorative power to bring nature back to its natural harmonic state. Blessings, Prayers, have been a core part of all religions and spiritual traditions. Although, many non believers felt it was superstitious to think that our words, thoughts, or even sound could have an impact on anything in this world of matter. This is where science separated from religion; a belief in a spiritual world of intelligence verses a physical mechanical dead world.

Yet, Jesus the Christ demonstrated for us the changing of water to fine wine, to taking a few fish and loaves of bread to feed 5,000 with plenty to spare. Or, at the last supper spiritually empowering the wine and bread prior to serving. And, the rising of Lazarus from the dead. With each of these acts Jesus began with Thank You. Such simple words of gratitude, blessed and the intention was carried forth.

Many of you have heard me speak on the power of intention on the food we eat. To say such simple words as I gaze into the food set before me, of course with the understanding behind them, "Divine Substance of God; pure whole and complete" Or, "Bless this food as it blesses us." The food being blest is no longer just food, regardless of how it has been packaged, prepared, or grown; but now is the divine substance of God that truly blesses and nourishes us.

In today’s world of science there is scientific proof of this ancient power of blessing. Last month an article was brought to my attention on this subject. Its based on the power of blessing, called in Japanese "HADO" or in English "I love you" and "Thank You" by Dr. Masaru Emoto, author of "Messages of Water" vol. 1 & 2. I have some pictures to send around as I speak today showing of his miraculous work.

Dr. Emoto began his work in 1989 in working with a device developed by Ronald J. Weinstock called a "Bio Cellular Analyzer." Dr. Emoto got Mr. Weinstock’s permission to change the name of the device to Magnetic Resonance Analyzer (MRA). Dr. Emoto found that this device gave him a new view on life and on his life in general.

Dr. Emoto discovered that all substances and phenomena have their own unique magnetic resonance field, which is converted electromagnetically into 4- or 5-digit numbers through a spectroscopy. MRA can be used for several functions including water quality inspection. Water has a very unusual property in that solid ice is about 10% lighter than water, causing it to float in liquid water. He observed that no two types of water have exactly the same crystals and that the shape of crystals mirrors properties of the actual substance.

According to Dr. Emoto, modern medicine focuses its observations at the molecular level. However, in order to be able to understand the real cause of a disease so that we may cure it completely, he believes that we must look at the atomic level or even at the micro-particle level. This is getting in to the level of Quantum physics which is helping us to understand the phenomena of our macro world. The MRA is able to measure, for the first time, quanta in micro levels smaller than molecules. This allowed Dr. Emoto to discover why diseases occur. He expressed his findings in his first two books "Prelude to the Hado Era" (1992) and "Studies of the Human Through Hado" (1994)".

According to Dr. Emoto, Hado (Love and Thank you) is a vibrational frequency, resonance wave – it is the source of energy behind the creation of all things. (Hado is the specific vibrating wave generated by the electrons orbiting the nucleus of an atom). A field of magnetic resonance is always present wherever Hado exists. Thus, Hado can be interpreted as the magnetic resonance field itself, which is one type of electromagnetic wave.

Dr. Emoto concluded that, "all things lie within your own consciousness." Thus, he believes that we should do our best to raise our Hado level by doing things such as saying blessings over our food and water, drinking good water and not accumulating negative feelings.

Just think of the number of people in today’s world that are actually cursing their food prior to eating it with negative thoughts about the food, or just holding negative thoughts while eating. I remember my sister saying, "I know this candy is bad for me, and will make my Arthritis worse" then would eat lots of it, and of course the next day she would suffer. Or else "this is pure poison or cancer causing." And, yet Christ Jesus said, "that its not what you put in your mouth that defiles you, but what comes out of it."

This also includes your unspoken thoughts since Jesus also said, "just by thinking it you have already done it." And then, "Forgive them Father for they know not what they do." How true!

In 1994, Dr. Emoto and his colleagues at the MRA Research Institute began taking photographs of frozen water crystals. The photos sent around are examples from his book "Messages from Water", which documents his groundbreaking research into the effect of human consciousness on water.

The book illustrates how water quality is reflected in its crystalline structure and how the consciousness of water can be affected by exposure to pollution, words, music, photos, and even prayer. It provides proof that water is alive and that it does have memory; it is living consciousness. When we reflect on how our bodies and our planet are primarily made of water, 70%, the implications of Dr. Emoto’s work are staggering.

In the examples that I have sent around, you can see the difference in the water before and after being exposed to thoughts, words, sounds, intentions and prayers. The water from pristine mountain streams and springs have beautifully formed geometric designs in their crystalline patterns. While polluted, stagnate or toxic water showed definitively distorted and randomly formed crystalline structures.

Dr. Emoto typed words and printed on paper, and then taped these to glass containers filled with distilled water overnight. The photographs showed the incredible reflections of water, as alive and highly responsive to every one of our emotions and thoughts. It is quite clear that water easily takes on the vibrations and energy of its environment, whether toxic and polluted or naturally pristine.

In the summer of 1999, hundreds of people gathered along the lakeshore of the Lake Aiwa, located at the central part of Japan, and prayed for the peace and harmony of the universe. After one month, a local newspaper reported that only that summer, there were no complaints from local residents about the foul odor resulting from extraordinary growth of a foreign alga, which they had been experiencing every summer for years.

In another experiment, Dr. Emoto wrote to 500 instructors from all over Japan. He told them that he would be placing a cup of ordinary tap water on his desk at a specific date and time. He asked them to transmit their feelings to that water to send "chi and soul" of love and the wish that the water should become clean.

The before and after pictures are remarkable. This demonstrates that people’s thoughts can be gathered no matter how far apart they are. It confirms the power of thought and prayer and further suggests that perhaps we can purify ordinary tap water through our conscious thought and words.

I actually did this Friday night, and I could taste the difference. I had someone else blind taste it, and he could tell the difference too.

He also did a test with water typing the Japanese words for "Do It" and on the other bottle "Let’s do it". He found that the commanding words "Do It" were clearly not responded to in as positive a way as the more encouraging words "Let’s do it". This suggests that we may wish to pay more attention to the way that we talk to each other and especially to our children.

Dr. Emoto has put out an invitation to participate in "Project of Love & Thanks to Water – Let us purify all the water on earth by love and thanks."

He asks that we join in to say "I love you" and "Thank you" to all the water on Planet Earth and fill it with the highest vibration (HADO) of Love and Thanks that we can possibly experience. He has set the date of Friday, July 25, 2003 as "World Day of Love and Thanks to Water."

He has selected three primary sights for this day: Lake Knitter, a.k.a. Sea of Galilee, Israel; Lake Starnberger, Germany; and Lake Biwa, Japan. Dr. Emoto has a vision that on this day, "Our Earth will be filled with beautiful golden/silver light of Love and Thanks that is flowing from the hearts of each and every one of us. Golden/silver light is the highest vibration in the range of visible light, and it will heal and cleanse all the water on earth, be it water of the ocean or that of our own body."

We have started a "Radiate Love Meditation" following the 2^nd and 4^th Sunday Services from 1 to 1:30pm, for just being a beacon of love. We shall send our Love and Thank You thoughts and energy to all waters, our planet earth, and to all beings and life everywhere. Knowing that it is Divine Substance. We can continue in our daily lives the blessings to all water we touch and use, our food, even the air we breathe, clouds and rain – continuing the blessings on down the drains. Its so much fun to know how powerful we really all are. Be the Miracle!
