"Healing Service"
by Rev. Christine & Mona 2/23/03

This month we have been focusing on the different aspects of love. Today our service is an exercise in forgiveness; forgiving a person, organization, situation or our self.

Healing takes place through the realization, the remembering, that we are made in the image and likeness of God – pure individualized expressions of Divine Spirit. To facilitate this process we shall lift our consciousness through prayer, singing, chanting or toning. This will help to shift our energy and raise our vibrational frequency and thus open our consciousness to love and wholeness.

Forgiveness is a major key in the teachings and healing work of Jesus the Christ. Forgiveness lifts up in to the truth the error pattern of all associated thoughts and feelings; allowing it to be transformed in mind and body. It is only in our sense of separation that we experience our humanness, and thus pain and suffering. Looking to the human rather than to God. Then as long as we look to God for forgiveness, we will be released through man.

When Jesus was asked by Peter, "My Lord, if my brother is at fault with me, how many times should I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said to him, I do not say to you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seventy-seven." These are sacred numbers that means until it is spiritually done, completely released in mind, body and soul, and transformed to love.

Today I have a worksheet for you to fill out. First take a few moments to breathe in deeply and fully, and relax your mind, and now ask what it is that you are ready to give up and forgive today.
