"Giving
Up Lack"

Beliefs concerning lack and limitation are so interwoven within our consciousness and way of life. Lack is the belief in being separate from our source. Separateness is the underlying current of belief that produces fear. This fear then manifests as all kinds of conditions: poverty & greed, physical and mental illness, inharmonious relationships and war.
Lack is a core belief of the mass consciousness of this world; not enough to go around for everybody. As a child we experience this in sibling rivalry based in not enough love to go around for us and our brothers and sisters. Theres not enough money, food, clothing, toys.
We are told there is only so much oil, fertile ground, land for living, water, animals, minerals and stones, ozone layer, even the air we breath. We believe the entire world to be decreasing in its wealth of natural resources. We then value that which is believed to be in short supply, such as, oil, gold, diamonds, and other gems, and life itself. Our whole monetary system is based on these.
We believe our bodily cells to be limited in reproduction. I remember when scientists believed the brain could not reproduce its cells. I always knew that not to be true, it just didnt make good sense.
They also believed, until not too long ago, that it took seven years to replace all the other cells of your body. That too has changed to most replaced within one year. I see this even more dynamically. With every breath we are exchanging atoms, light, which is the substance of our cellular body. In fact our cells are constantly being ignited with the invisible substance of life.
Many believe life to be limited to a finite number of years, days, breaths. And, intelligence or luck is doled out at birth limiting our opportunities. Then we believe in the life of working 8-10 hours 5-6 days a week in order to survive. Have I left anything out?
Everything I have mentioned thus far is focused in the earthly nature of things we all call physical; our body and earth. According to physical laws much of this appears as true. Scientists can observe, measure, and so by their authority claim it as law. We are observing by our 5 outer senses: touch, sight, hear, smell, taste.
As physical beings abiding by physical laws we believe our source for everything to survive is outside our self; earth for food, air to breath, water to drink, and the sun for fire and heat. This all sounds very reasonable, and can be proven by our learned scientists, and therefore we are in agreement.
As physical laws go it is true, but then we move to spiritual law. This tells us something very different. The first insight of spiritual law is that all is one, and there is nothing outside of our self. You noticed I said insight; spiritual laws are observed from the inside out. As spiritual beings our perceptions are based not by observance of the outer world, but by our inner senses of intuition, as clair-audience, clairvoyance, and empathic of the invisible world.
We begin to know our world in a whole different way. Our source is from within; inner power, inner wisdom, and inner abundance. All supply comes from within and manifested in our spiritual world of experience. Even the things we dont want have been created from within our consciousness. We are already creating every moment of our experience. The difference is being conscious or unconscious creators.
Based on no outer evidence we trust, have faith, with a knowingness of already having. We know that all substance, all supply, comes from within us. That our supply is infinite because it is God substance. It is invisible God substance. There is absolutely nothing in this outer world that didnt first come from within our consciousness.
Scientists of physical law say that seeing is believing, and metaphysicians of spiritual law say believing is seeing. When we believe in a bountiful God, a bountiful spiritual world, then we will see it and experience it as such. Just think for a moment of the bountifulness all around you right now, including the universe.
Along our spiritual journey, we move from physical law, to mental law, and then to spiritual law of Grace. Mental law, is the first stage that metaphysicians apply to. Mental law is based on the power of the mind over matter; there being two powers mind and matter. They will use their mental will power to change conditions of the physical world. This does give results for a time. But, the results are not lasting. And, the mind knows this and thus is still running fear of losing what it has gained. Therefore greed or hoarding sets in. Mental law also subscribes to the belief in karma.
Spiritual law is the realization of truth in our oneness of God -- there is nowhere where God is not. It is no longer mind over matter, but becomes spirit as matter a spiritual world, a spiritual body -- a spiritual universe. Now we no longer abide in mental or physical law. We rise above appearances, we rise above karma into grace. We no longer try to make something come forth by might, will, and thought. But by grace it is done. It is our divine heritage as the sun of God.
All we have to do is realize our true source, our oneness in God. God lives and moves and has its beingness in and through and as us. How can there be any limitation in and as God. Did God ever create just one of something or just a few? Bountiful, unlimited is the nature of God.
I shall now address God as supply. Many think of supply as receiving. Supply is not income; it is outgo it is the principle of giving. The other property of supply is that it is invisible. Joel Goldsmith, the mystic of the 20th century said, "You have never seen supply because supply does not exist in the visible realm. Supply is spirit, a life-force, completely invisible and infinite in nature. Supply is the infinite visible. Supply is something within your own being. It is the truth that God constitutes your being. Consciously to know God as the very I of your being, having that, you have the source of all supply."
"Spiritually there is no way to demonstrate supply. It cannot be done because all of supply that exists in heaven or on earth exists within you at this moment, and therefore, all attempts to demonstrate supply must result in failure. There is no supply outside of your being."
"If you want to enjoy the abundance of supply, you must open out a way for that supply to escape. How you can loose this supply by giving will be revealed to you in your communion with God; prayer and meditation.
You can begin to gain this consciousness of supply by finding something you can give some place where you have not been giving. Give to someone who is not a member of your family or even to someone who at the moment is your enemy. Start the flow of giving, and you will start the flow of supply. This "giving away" has no relationship to amounts to the number of dollars or anything else; giving has to do with the degree of givingness. It is the acknowledgment that supply is giving out, not gathering in."
Tithing is a principle of giving. The giving of your first fruits, not from what is left over, but the first. Because it is out of the realization that all our good has come from God. It is from a fulness in gratitude of all that has been received. When from leftovers we are coming from lack, in fear of not having enough to share and get through to the next paycheck. Again, we have changed our focus to receiving from the outer.
Tithing can begin with any percentage that you are comfortable with. It is forming the giving consciousness, casting your bread upon the waters that will return to you. But you must "give away" you must cast your bread upon the waters to invoke supply. And, eventually you will be giving a greater percentage because you see the principle in action working. You are never without regardless of the circumstances. Because we know our source is from within.
"Giving need not necessarily begin with the giving of anything material, money or things with giving anything. It may begin with giving up of some things: the giving up of resentment, jealousy, and hate; the giving up of the desire to get recognition, reward, remuneration, gratitude, and cooperation. Simultaneously with this "giving up" will come the giving of patience, cooperation, love, and forgiveness. Give in the realization that it is not what you get that is your supply: it is what you give."
The longer you hold yourself in bondage to the belief that you can get something even from God just that long are you separating yourself from contact with your good. The secret is that the source of your supply is your own consciousness of God as supply. It is knowing that all substance is out of the invisible, and it is infinite.
Bring your beliefs your thoughts in alignment with the infinite. During this Lenten Season "give up" those limiting beliefs and patterns. How often we put off our good by sayings "When my ship comes in" or "When I win the lottery", or "I cant." Take inventory of your beliefs around supply, and be willing to give up, for spiritual truth Consciously to know God as the very I of your being as the infinite source of all supply.
The following is a meditation from the 60 day non-human diet by John Randolph Price:
I Am invisible, for Spirit is invisible and I am Spirit.
I Am invisible, for Cause is invisible and I am Cause.
I Am invisible, for Soul is invisible and I am Soul.
I Am invisible, for Consciousness is invisible and I am Consciousness.
I Am invisible, for Body is invisible and I am Body.
I Am invisible, therefore, in prayer and meditation I seek that which is invisible, for to seek form is contrary to my nature.
I Am invisible, and to judge that which is seen is to decree lack and limitation, for what is seen is but an infinitesimal fragment of that which infinitely is.
I Am invisible, and so is my love, wisdom, power, health, abundance, peace, harmony, joy, and the essence of my relationships.
I Am invisible. As my consciousness of the invisible Activity of Spirit expands, the greater and grander will be the manifestations in my life, for the invisible Cause is infinite and the forms eternally unlimited, yet that which is seen in mind as finite is forever limited in visible expression.
I Am invisible.
"Giving UP Lack"
Worksheet1. List false beliefs based in lack to give UP:
2. List what you know to be true about God and infinite abundance:
3. List what you know to be true about yourself and infinite abundance:
Affirm: "God within, and as me, is my ever renewing infinite supply. I rejoice in giving away for I am abundance in action."
