"Visions of the Book of Revelation - The Four Horsemen"
by Rev. Christine 8/22/99
Today I'm continuing with the visions in the Book of Revelation. The Book of Revelation continues the spiritual path for mankind in resurrecting the
Christ within and ascending to the new body, the new race, the new Jerusalem. A few weeks ago I spoke on the 7 messages to the churches and how
they related to the chakra system and the rising kundalini energy. This week we're continuing with this theme through the opening of the 7 seals. We
begin in Revelation chapter 6:1-8 of the four horsemen. I'll read from Bible:
"And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw,
and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was
given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of
balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny;
and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name
that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with
hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."
There is much symbolism in this vision. We begin with the Lamb opening one of the seals, this lamb is our higher self. We are in higher consciousness, in a state of prayer or meditation. In this high state, like thunder, a message is received of one of the four beasts, these are the beasts in reference to the fixed signs Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, and Scorpio.
The symbol of horses has long been used to represent power. Even today it is used in reference to the performance of the engines in our cars. There is a
rider, or driver, the one guiding the power. We are at a stage in our development that we have opened to the Christ Spirit. The warning here is in the
misuse or undeveloped use of our powers. It is time now to let the Christ Spirit be in charge of our lower 3 chakras.
This first beast is the man of Aquarius, air, The Christ spirit telling us to come and see. Here we are promised victory of the white horse; the crown and
the sword. The victory is already promised us (our spirit and soul), through our persistence in keeping our vision high in the crown chakra and abiding to truth.
Then we are lead to the tests, to those areas that we need to overcome within our selves. We each have our own lessons. We go through these on
different levels of our spiritual path, as a spiral, always rising upward gaining new insight and refining our truth and way of life.
Opening of the second seal, again we are asked to come and see, and this time the beast is the lion of Leo, fire of life. The red horse, represents desire,
passion in its higher states, but can also be anger and war. The great sword given is love. Love is the victory of the rider of the second horse. Love shall
conquer all.
The third seal is opened by the beast of Taurus, the calf, earth. It is the black horse of the intellect or logical mind. Here we have the logical mind
measuring and judging by appearances; the weighing of scales. In its higher aspect it is discernment, intuition, wisdom guiding over the intellect. In its
lower nature, it is one totally focused upon worldly power. Belief in lack and all that the effects of the physical world. Here we have the choice to use our
intellect for the good of all or self serving. The intellect alone is without love or compassion; humility is its true power. The rider of this horse is
reminded to not hurt the oil and wine -- the true nature of life; love and spirit.
The fourth seal is opened by the beast of Scorpio, the flying eagle, water. It is the pale horse of death and hell. This rider can be as the flying eagle
soaring to new heights, or it can be in fear of losing physical life and all that this world has to offer. It represents the emotional nature which is part of the
physical body. Through fear our emotions can cause the appearance of pain, disease, suffering, and death, or through love we can experience the greatest
of joy. The sword given here is truth over the illusionary world.
We die to our old beliefs allowing the Christ Spirit to soar to its crowning glory of eternal life. This physical life is pale in comparison to the Christ Life.
Our physical body is pale compared to our light body. This physical world is pale compared to the spiritual world we call heaven.
Who is riding our horses, who is in control, what is driving us? This we must ask ourselves on a daily basis. We are told to die daily. We die daily to our
old beliefs, to our old habits and old emotional responses. We have awakened the Christ within. It is time to let its power of love to be the guiding force
and power in our lives.
Yes, the old will crumble away, old friends we'll leave behind. It may appear as a great war at times, an internal battle. This we must not fear for it is
only the light. All that we have to lose is our fear. We must never give up. We must stand in our truth always. The battle will be won. Prayer treatments
will be answered, the false will give way to truth. Eternal life is ours not because we have earned it, but because it is the truth of what we are -- and now
we know that it is God living in and through and as us, as the Christ -- the sun of God.
Chapter 7-9: tells of the success of one that sits at the throne. Has mastered their horses, and gives full attention to the Christ consciousness; our mind,
body, and soul serves in God's temple. Are robes are washed white. The robe represents an outer garment that protects. It is our energy field that
surrounds us. We are told that it is white, which is a symbol for purity of mind, body or emotional nature.
We are told to rest until all our faculties are ready. We are then promised to be one of the 144,000. We come into the highest unfoldment of the 12 tribes
of Israel. 12 x 12, 000 representing infinity or unlimited. The 12 tribes represent the 12 zodiac archetypes that mankind are all part of. They are the 12
powers of mankind. 12 also represents completion. This number adds to 9; the highest number of mankind. One that has reached compassion for his
fellow man in true brother/sister hood, in service to all of mankind.
Let us take a few moments now to come in touch with our 4 horses. Imagine yourself as the rider. Breath in the energy of the white horse, the Christ
Spirit. Feel empowered by light and love. Nothing can stand in your way on your spiritual journey.
Now take a look at your desires in life, your red horse. Mount your red horse, breathe in God life. Releasing all desires that doesn't support life.
Next take a look at your intellect and beliefs, your black horse. Mount your black horse, and breathe in Love, humility, and discernment. Releasing all
beliefs that no longer serve you.
Now take a look at your emotions and fears, your pale horse. Mount your pale horse, and breathe in Love and Truth. Releasing all illusion that no longer
serves you.
Continue to breathe in Life, Love, and the Christ Spirit. See your robe bathed in white. Feel your energy field filled with white light. The heart is the bridge rise up through and into the upper levels to your golden crown. Peace be still. It is done.
